New Directions is currently recruiting for a part-time SEND Teacher for a Specialist Primary School in the Trafford Area. This is longer-term, part-time, 3 full days – and the school are looking for the right candidate on the longer-term basis.

Primary SEND School that caters for learners 3-11 with ASC, PMLD, SLD & Complex Needs
Ofsted-rated ‘Good’ with Outstanding features, the school is recognised for its strong leadership, state of the art facilities and commitment to supporting children with additional needs
Local to public transport links and the m60 motorway
The Role:
Full-time teaching in a KS1 class for pupils with social communication and sensory needs
Small dedicated, well-staffed classes provide tailored lessons to the needs of each students
Working with outside agencies to provide specialist support for learners with complex needs
The Candidate:
Holding qualified teacher status
Recent experience teaching in SEND – ideally in primary complex needs
Candidates with Team Teach training are desirable, however training can be provided with New Directions
