Role: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: North Manchester Pay: £89 – £100 a day Start date: ASAP
New Directions Education is seeking a dedicated Class TA for a specialist provision within a mainstream primary school in North Manchester. This role operates on a rotating 1:1 system, giving you the chance to support different pupils with additional needs throughout the day.
Key responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 support for pupils with a range of additional needs
Assist teachers with lesson delivery, ensuring all pupils can access learning
Encourage engagement, independence, and positive behaviour
Help implement personalised strategies and support plans
Work closely with staff to monitor pupil progress and adapt support as needed
Role Requirements:
Experience supporting children with additional needs, ideally in a 1:1 or specialist setting
Flexible, adaptable, and collaborative
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A patient, caring approach and a passion for inclusive education
