Anica was my line manager, I was only employed as a casual member of staff initially as an invigilator, I had not worked for a couple of years prior to me starting with ND Education, but I decided to go back to work, I have to say I was a little nervous getting back out there as I’m of a certain age. I have a very good professional working relationship with New Directions Education (NDE). NDE have giving me the opportunity to work in some great schools within Swansea areas which has helped me to gain excellent experience working within the Education Sector. I have been given the opportunity to work with a variety of different children and I have gained valuable experience working with children with Additional Learning needs and mainstream schools too which I have found very rewarding in my job.

New Directions have provided a variety of different training opportunities within the company which I have enjoyed too. NDE have worked well around my flexibility and my other day to day commitments such as my University time table and other commitments I have.

Kirsty has done her very best to find me other work in the area which I really appreciate. I have found the Swansea office to be very helpful and professional in general in how they communicate. I found New Directions very reliable to work with in general. I always feel I can rely on Kirsty as an account Manager to find me as much work as possible which is great.

Lauren is very attentive and responds as fast as possible to any queries I have had; no question is too silly! She has a lovely personality and is easy to get along with; couldn’t have asked for a better account manager to support me in finding local supply work!

It’s so easy to book supply work: I like the texting system it’s very current and easy to respond to a request, rather than having to answer a phone call when potentially unavailable. I also like how accommodating Lauren and the rest of the team have been, particularly when I have asked to be booked in for supply work in a particular school that has reached out to me personally.
