This is a fantastic opportunity to provide essential support to children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, working in both SEND and mainstream primary school settings.
Key Responsibilities:
– Provide one-on-one support to students with varied SEND, tailoring assistance to meet individual needs.
– Collaborate with teachers to implement individualised education plans (IEPs) and monitor student progress.
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, encouraging students’ social and emotional development.
– Help with classroom activities, ensuring all students are engaged and supported.
– Build trusting relationships with students, parents, and staff to promote effective communication and support.
Requirements:
– Experience working with children with SEND in educational or supportive roles is preferred.
– A patient, understanding, and nurturing approach to working with children.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with teachers and other professionals.
