We are looking for a committed and compassionate Teaching Assistants to work in vibrant and inclusive schools that we work with in the Bridgend community. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about supporting children’s learning and development in a classroom setting.
Key Responsibilities
Assist the class teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
Provide tailored support to pupils on a one-to-one basis or in small groups.
Help manage classroom behaviour and encourage a positive learning environment.
Support children with additional learning needs (ALN) where required.
Contribute to the planning and preparation of learning activities and materials.
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children or in an educational setting is desirable.
A positive, patient, and enthusiastic approach to supporting pupils.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A relevant qualification (e.g., CACHE Level 2 or 3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning) is beneficial but not essential.
A valid enhanced DBS check, or willingness to obtain one.
