About the role: As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers to support pupils with their learning, both in groups and one-on-one. You’ll help create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, assist with lesson preparation, and provide support for students who may need extra help.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting learning activities under the direction of the class teacher
Assisting pupils with individual needs, including additional learning needs support
Helping to prepare classroom materials and displays
Supervising children during breaks and lunchtimes as required
Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement
What we’re looking for:
Experience working with children (in a school or similar setting)
A caring, flexible and proactive approach
Good communication and teamwork skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
Teaching Assistant qualifications (desirable but not essential)
