Celebrating Leadership: Kelly Storer and Kieran Mulqueen Appointed as Regional Directors at New Directions Education

With more than 25 years of dedicated service to the education sector, New Directions Education has built a reputation founded on trust, quality, and a deep commitment to supporting schools and education professionals across Wales and the North West of England.

As part of our continued growth and evolution, I am delighted to announce the promotion of two exceptional leaders within our organisation. Kelly Storer and Kieran Mulqueen have been appointed to the roles of Regional Directors, marking an important milestone in our strategy to strengthen our regional presence and further enhance the service we provide. Their great efforts in developing and supporting strategic growth within their respective regions have significantly contributed to the success of New Directions Education, and their promotions reflect both their impact and their continued commitment to progressing their successful careers.

Having supported the education sector for over two decades, our success has always been shaped by the people who lead our teams and champion our values. The introduction of these Regional Director roles reflects our long-term vision for expansion, particularly across North West England, and our commitment to investing in the talented individuals who drive our business forward.

Kelly joined New Directions Education in 2009, and for more than 15 years has played a pivotal role in supporting our schools, candidates, and internal teams across Wales. Her dedication to service excellence and her ability to build meaningful and lasting relationships have set the standard for what we strive to achieve as an organisation. Reflecting on her promotion, Kelly said:

Stepping into the role of Regional Director is a milestone I’m incredibly proud of. It reflects years of hard work, meaningful relationships, and the support of mentors and colleagues who inspire me every day. This role is both an achievement and a responsibility I’m ready to embrace with pride and passion, and I’m excited for what lies ahead as we continue driving growth, excellence, and opportunity across the region.

Kieran joined New Directions Education in February 2023, and in a short period has made significant strides in strengthening our presence across North West England. His innovative approach, strong rapport with clients and teams, and relentless drive have been instrumental in accelerating our growth within the region. Sharing his thoughts, Kieran said:

I’m honoured to be appointed to the role of Regional Director. I’m genuinely proud of what the teams and I have achieved through a lot of hard work, commitment, and maybe a little luck. I’m grateful to be surrounded by some of the most genuine, honest, hardworking, and conscientious people in the industry—these people make coming to work every day a joy.

In this new role, he will continue building on this momentum as we expand our footprint and strengthen partnerships across the North West.
