If so New directions are looking to recruit experienced TA’S within Secondary Schools in the Lower Monmouthshire/Chepstow area, you will be working under the guidance of teachers to support students across the curriculum.

This role is for a person who is, motivated, and can help children achieve their full potential, creating a positive environment for them to thrive. You may be working with children with challenging behaviour so you will need to be resilient, consistent and understanding of their needs.

Essential

• A minimum of 3 months child-based experience/ or a background in the care sector
• Contactable references
• A child and adult DBS – or be willing to undertake one via New Directions
• A willingness to complete mandatory training when required
• An excellent track record
• Flexibility and adaptability to work short-term and long-term
• Strong communication skills
