Salary: 135- 155 Per day dependent on level of experience
Contract: Full-time, term-time only (8:30am – 3:30pm)

A newly opened specialist independent provision in Northwich is seeking an inspiring and nurturing Class Teacher to join their growing team. Teaching pupils aged 4–11 in small, therapeutic groups, the provision is designed to meet the holistic needs of up to 108 children when full, ensuring personalised learning and highly individualised support.
⭐ About the Role
As a Class Teacher in this specialist setting, you will:
• Plan, deliver, and adapt a creative, child-centred curriculum tailored to pupils with SEMH and SEND needs.
• Teach small classes where emotional development, communication, and wellbeing are as important as academic progress.
• Use therapeutic and trauma-informed approaches to support emotional regulation, relationship building, and resilience.
• Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, Therapists, Pastoral Leads, and external professionals to create and implement personalised learning plans.
• Use assessment for learning to identify individual barriers, track progress, and celebrate achievements in all forms.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing classroom environment that promotes trust, security, and positive behaviour.
• Embed outdoor learning and take part in the school’s Forest School provision to support sensory, social, and experiential development.
• Contribute to the development of individualised behaviour support, sensory strategies, and evidence-based interventions.
• Communicate effectively with families, sharing progress, strategies, and successes in a supportive and compassionate manner.
