Midday Supervisor, Cardiff

Job Description

We are currently looking for a Lunchtime Supervisor to supports pupils in a Primary School’s across Cardiff, Fairwater area.

You will be required to monitor the safety and wellbeing of pupils during lunch time breaks. An important part of this role is to build a positive and trusting relationship with the pupils. The successful candidate will need to have a calm demeanour, positive attitude and will assist in promoting positive behaviour. You will also possess good communication skills and enjoy working with children

You will have:

• Good understanding of English language
• A proactive attitude
• Capability to monitor behavioural needs and support pupils with low self-esteem
• A calm demeanour and encouraging nature
• Commitment

You will need:

• A minimum of 3 months child-based experience
• Contactable references
• A Child and Adult DBS – or be willing to undertake one via New Directions
• A willingness to complete mandatory training when required
