Job Description

Do you have a passion for supporting children with Additional Learning Needs and helping them achieve their full potential?

We are currently recruiting caring and dedicated Additional Learning Needs (ALN) Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis in schools across the Wrexham area. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to support pupils with a range of learning, behavioural, and communication needs while enjoying the flexibility that supply work provides.

As an ALN Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide tailored assistance to pupils, both within the classroom and through targeted interventions. You may support children on a one-to-one basis or in small groups, helping to build their confidence, independence, and engagement with learning.

We are looking for patient, adaptable, and compassionate individuals who are committed to creating positive outcomes for children with additional learning needs. Previous experience working with ALN pupils, either in an educational, care, or support setting, is highly desirable but not essential.

In return, we offer competitive rates of pay, flexible day-to-day, short-term, and long-term placements, and ongoing support from a dedicated education consultant who will work with you to find roles that match your skills and preferences.

If you’re looking for a rewarding opportunity to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people and are seeking ALN Teaching Assistant roles in Wrexham from September, we would love to hear from you.
