New Directions Education is seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Biology Teacher to join a successful secondary school on the Wirral. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator who can deliver engaging, high-quality science lessons and inspire students to excel in Biology.
Key Responsibilities
Teaching Biology across KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering engaging practical and theory-based lessons
Preparing students for GCSE and, where applicable, A-Level examinations
Monitoring, assessing and recording pupil progress
Maintaining high standards of behaviour and creating a positive learning environment
Working collaboratively with the Science department and wider school team
The Ideal Candidate
QTS/QTLS with specialism or strong experience in Biology
Excellent subject knowledge and passion for science education
Strong classroom-management skills
Ability to differentiate lessons and support a range of learning needs
Enthusiastic, organised and committed to pupil achievement
