Cover Supervisor

New Directions is currently recruiting for a number of Cover Supervisors to work with our Secondary schools in the Blaenau Gwent area. This can be a full time or part time position working as general cover throughout the school covering day to day sickness and teacher absences.

Applicants will be required to manage the class, be organised, punctual, prepared for any situation and have a presence in the classroom to ensure that students remain on task with the work they have been set. you will also be required to understand and learn the school policy so that your management and control of the pupils follows the school’s guidelines. The right candidate will also provide a creative and exciting learning environment whereby pupils are motivated and encouraged to show ambition, to maximise their potential, and to embrace all aspects of school life to develop a wide-ranging skill set.
