New Directions Education is working closely with a welcoming primary school in the Bromborough area to recruit an experienced EYFS Teacher to start January 2026 on a long-term basis.
We are looking for a passionate, dedicated and confident practitioner with a strong background in Early Years. EYFS experience is essential, and experience in F2 is highly desirable.

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Strong EYFS curriculum knowledge
Experience in F2 is desirable
Ability to create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment
Confident supporting children of varying abilities and needs
A warm, positive and proactive approach to teaching
What the Role Involves:
Delivering high-quality teaching and learning in EYFS
Planning, assessing and adapting lessons to support individual progress
Working closely with support staff and the wider EYFS team
Building positive relationships with pupils, staff and parents

Job Specification
An EYFS Teacher works in day nurseries and also nursery or reception classes in infant or primary schools.
The development areas typically covered by EYFS teachers include:

Expressive arts and design.
As an EYFS teacher you’ll be expected to:
Hold QTS status
Teach all areas of the Early Years Statutory Framework
Organise the classroom and learning resources to create a safe and positive teaching environment
Plan and prepare activities that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within their class
Motivate pupils with enthusiastic, imaginative presentation;
Maintain discipline
Meet requirements for the assessment and recording of pupils’ development
Coordinate activities and resources within a specific area of the curriculum, and supporting colleagues in the delivery of this specialist area
Stay up to date with changes and developments in the structure of the curriculum
Take part in school events and activities which may take place at weekends or in the evening
Liaise with colleagues and working flexibly, particularly in smaller schools and day-nurseries.
