The Role:
Provide targeted support for high-achieving pupils, both in small groups and on a 1:1 basis, to help them achieve greater depth.
Work closely with class teachers to deliver extension activities and deepen learning across core and foundation subjects.
Support pupils with problem-solving, reasoning, and independent learning skills.
Contribute to a positive, aspirational classroom environment.
Assist with lesson preparation, assessment support, and classroom organisation.
The Ideal Candidate:
Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Experience supporting pupils in a primary school setting is desirable.
A strong understanding of how to challenge and extend high-achieving learners.
Confident, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
Willing to undergo an enhanced DBS check and register with the Update Service if not already completed.
Able to provide employment references covering the last 5 years.
