New Directions are currently recruiting Qualified Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Chester. We have a range of long-term, short-term, and ad hoc roles available, all starting ASAP, making this a great opportunity for TAs looking for flexibility or a more consistent schedule.
The Role: As a Teaching Assistant, you’ll support teachers and pupils across EYFS, KS1, or KS2, either in the classroom or providing 1:1 support, helping children engage with learning and achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting pupils in the classroom or small groups
Assisting with learning activities and behaviour management
Supporting children with additional needs where required
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Working closely with teachers to support pupil development
We’re Looking For:
A qualified Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or Level 3)
Experience working in a primary school setting
Reliable, flexible, and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills
