Job Description

New Directions Education is recruiting a dedicated and adaptable secondary-trained SEND Teacher to work in a specialist SEND school in North Liverpool. This role involves teaching pupils with complex needs who are working at a primary attainment level, within a supportive and well-resourced setting.

This is an excellent opportunity for a teacher who is confident adapting the curriculum and passionate about inclusive, child-centred learning.

The Role:

  • Track pupil progress and contribute to individual education plans

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), secondary trained
  • Experience working with SEND and complex needs (desirable)
  • Confident adapting subject knowledge to a primary curriculum level
  • Patient, resilient, and flexible approach
  • Strong behaviour management and communication skills
  • Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive practice
