New Directions is currently recruiting for a SENCo for a small independent setting in Trafford. The setting caters for learners with ASC & Complex Needs. This is a temp to perm role, meaning it will lead to a permanent contract.
The School:
Strong senior leadership team who create a supportive environment to work in
Specialist provision that caters for learners with ASC, PMLD & Complex Needs
Small tailored classes catered to the specific needs of the learner
The Role:
Full SENCo responsibilities (PEP, EHCP reviews, planning for 4 specific students)
Some teaching responsibilities for 4 specific pupils (ASC, PMLD, Complex Needs)
Full time – Monday to Friday – 8:30am -4pm
The Candidate:
Holding Qualified Teacher Status with experience of teaching SEND students
Recent experience working as a SENCo (whether qualified, part-qualified – or well experienced in the role without qualification) Ideally a driver as the school is based across two sites
