New Directions Education are currently recruiting a Behaviour Buddy to work in a SEND schools across Wirral. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about supporting pupils with social, emotional, and behavioural needs.
The Role:
Providing 1:1 behavioural and emotional support to pupils
Supporting positive behaviour strategies and routines
Helping pupils regulate emotions and remain engaged in learning
Working closely with teachers and SEND staff
Creating a safe, calm, and supportive environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Experience working with children or young people with SEND or behavioural needs
A calm, patient, and resilient approach
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
An understanding of safeguarding and child protection
A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable learners
All applicants must have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check and provide appropriate professional references
