New Directions is seeking a dedicated, caring, and adaptable Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Early Years Practitioner to work across a range of Specialist and Primary education settings throughout Cheshire East. This varied role will involve reporting to and supporting multiple school settings, offering a mixture of 1:1 support and small group interventions for pupils with a range of additional learning and developmental needs. You will play an important role in helping teachers deliver inclusive and engaging lessons, supporting children to access the curriculum, build confidence, and reach their individual potential.
As part of this role, you will work closely with class teachers, SENCOs, and wider school staff to provide tailored support both in and out of the classroom. You will help manage behaviour, encourage positive relationships, and create a safe, nurturing learning environment where children feel supported and valued. The role requires flexibility, strong communication skills, and a genuine passion for supporting young people, as you may be placed in different settings depending on need.
