New Directions Education are currently recruiting Level 2 and Level 3 EYFS Practitioners / Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools across Chester. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about early childhood development and supporting young learners at the start of their education journey.
The Role:
• Supporting children within the EYFS setting, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis
• Assisting with the delivery of play-based and structured learning activities
• Supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic development
• Helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
• Working closely with class teachers and the wider EYFS team
• Supporting routines, observations, and early assessments
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• A Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare
• Experience working within an EYFS or primary school setting (desirable)
• A caring, patient, and enthusiastic approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A good understanding of safeguarding and child development
• A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning
All applicants must have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check and provide appropriate professional references.
