About the Role
As a Cover Supervisor, you’ll step into classrooms across a variety of subjects, providing structured and confident supervision in the teacher’s absence. With pre‑planned lessons ready for you, your role is all about delivering engaging learning, maintaining a positive atmosphere, and keeping students on track with efficient classroom management.
This role is perfect for aspiring teachers, experienced support staff, graduates, or anyone with a passion for education and strong classroom presence.
What You’ll Be Doing
-Delivering pre‑set lesson plans across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
-Managing classroom behaviour and encouraging positive engagement
-Supporting students with tasks and offering guidance where needed
-Ensuring a safe, calm and productive learning environment
-Adapting confidently to different subjects and year groups
-Building relationships with students and staff across the school
