We are working with a welcoming primary school in Ellesmere Port who are looking to appoint a Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their EYFS team on a full-time basis, starting ASAP.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a nurturing Early Years setting, supporting children at a crucial stage of their development.
The Role:
Supporting learning within an EYFS classroom
Assisting with phonics, early literacy and numeracy
Encouraging learning through play and structured activities
Providing 1:1 and small group support where needed
Supporting children’s social and emotional development
We’re Looking For:
Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
Recent experience working within EYFS
Good understanding of the Early Years Framework
A nurturing, patient and proactive approach
Strong communication and teamwork skills

As a teaching assistant you’ll be expected to:
Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, ALNCO and class teachers
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes (IEP) for students and help monitor their progress
Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.
