New Directions Education are currently recruiting EYFS Teachers for primary schools across Helsby and the surrounding areas, offering a range of flexible, short-term and long-term opportunities.
These roles are ideal for enthusiastic teachers who are passionate about early childhood development and creating engaging, nurturing environments where young children can build the foundations for future learning.
Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.
The Role:
Planning and delivering engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
Supporting children’s communication, language and early literacy and numeracy skills
Creating a safe, stimulating and nurturing learning environment
Using play-based activities to encourage exploration and development
Supporting children’s personal, social and emotional development
Observing, assessing and recording children’s progress
Adapting activities to meet different developmental stages and individual needs
Building positive relationships with children, colleagues and families
Working collaboratively with Early Years staff and teaching assistants
Following safeguarding procedures and promoting children’s welfare
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching within EYFS or an early years setting
Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework
An understanding of child development and play-based learning
A warm, patient and nurturing approach
The ability to create engaging learning opportunities
Strong communication and organisational skills
The ability to support children with a range of abilities and needs
A genuine passion for early years education
A strong commitment to safeguarding
All applicants must have, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check and provide appropriate professional references.
