New Directions Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teachers to work in primary schools across Chester and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for teachers who are passionate about early years education and supporting children at the beginning of their learning journey.
We work with a range of welcoming and supportive schools that are committed to providing high-quality early years provision and creating engaging environments where young learners can flourish. Opportunities are available on a short-term, long-term, and potential temp-to-perm basis.
Due to the nature of these opportunities, candidates must be able to commit to working 3 or more days per week.
• Delivering engaging and creative learning experiences within the EYFS curriculum
• Creating a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
• Supporting children’s social, emotional, and academic development
• Planning and adapting activities to meet the needs of all learners
• Monitoring progress and contributing to observations and assessments
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Working collaboratively with teaching assistants, parents, and school staff
• Supporting children as they develop independence and confidence in their learning
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within an EYFS setting
• A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development
• Excellent classroom management and communication skills
• A nurturing and creative approach to teaching
• The ability to build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
• A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
• A genuine passion for supporting young children’s learning and development
• A full driving licence and access to transport (desirable)
