New Directions Education is currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and dedicated EYFS Teacher to work within primary schools across Bradford and the surrounding areas. We want to hear from you if you have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
Experience teaching within an EYFS setting.
A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development.
The ability to plan and deliver creative, engaging, and differentiated learning opportunities.
Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
A nurturing and child-centred approach to teaching and learning.
A passion for supporting children to achieve their full potential both academically and socially.
Job Specification
Working as an EYFS Teacher can be incredibly rewarding, requiring creativity, patience, and a commitment to providing children with the best possible start to their education. You will work closely with support staff, parents, and school leaders to ensure pupils receive high-quality teaching and care within a stimulating and supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
Create a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment where children can thrive.
Support children’s learning and development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
Assess, monitor, and record pupil progress, ensuring accurate and meaningful observations are maintained.
Differentiate learning activities to meet the needs of all pupils, including those with additional learning needs.
Build positive relationships with parents and carers, ensuring effective communication regarding pupil progress and wellbeing.
Work collaboratively with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and wider school staff to support pupil development.
Encourage the development of children’s social, emotional, and communication skills alongside their academic progress.
Promote positive behaviour and establish clear expectations within the classroom.
Contribute to the wider life of the school and support school events, activities, and initiatives.
