This is a fantastic opportunity to inspire young learners at the very beginning of their educational journey. We are looking for enthusiastic practitioners who can create stimulating, inclusive, and supportive learning environments where children feel confident to explore, develop, and thrive.

As an EYFS Teacher, you will play a key role in fostering children’s curiosity, creativity, and independence while delivering high-quality teaching that supports both academic achievement and personal development.

We’re interested in hearing from teachers who have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching within an Early Years Foundation Stage setting.
  • A strong understanding of the EYFS Framework and child development.
  • The ability to deliver engaging, creative, and differentiated learning experiences.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A caring, child-centred approach to teaching and learning.
  • A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential academically, socially, and emotionally.

The Role

Teaching in the Early Years is both rewarding and impactful. You will have the opportunity to shape children’s first experiences of education, helping them build the foundations they need for future success.

Working collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and families, you will provide a positive and stimulating environment that encourages children to develop confidence, resilience, and a lifelong love of learning.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver high-quality learning opportunities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage Framework.
  • Create a safe, welcoming, and engaging classroom environment where all children can flourish.
  • Support children’s learning and development across all areas of the EYFS curriculum.
  • Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress through meaningful observations and assessments.
  • Adapt learning activities to meet the needs of all learners, including those with additional needs.
  • Build positive and effective relationships with parents and carers, keeping them informed of children’s progress and wellbeing.
  • Work closely with Teaching Assistants, SENCOs, and wider school staff to support pupil outcomes.
  • Promote children’s social, emotional, language, and communication development alongside academic learning.
  • Encourage positive behaviour and establish clear routines and expectations.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including events, activities, and initiatives.
