A welcoming and supportive primary school in Wirral is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join their nursery team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate Early Years practitioner who is committed to supporting young children in their early development within a nurturing and engaging environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Support the class teacher in delivering high-quality Early Years provision
Work closely with children in the nursery class to promote learning through play
Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment
Support children’s social, emotional, and educational development
Assist with observations and assessments in line with EYFS requirements
Requirements:
A Level 3 qualification in Early Years / Childcare (must be full and relevant in line with Ofsted-approved EY qualifications)
Experience working within a nursery or Early Years setting
A strong understanding of the EYFS framework
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
A caring, patient, and proactive approach

As a teaching assistant you’ll be expected to:
Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the direction and guidance of the head teacher, ALNCO and class teachers
Assist in the implementation of Individual Education Programmes (IEP) for students and help monitor their progress
Provide support for individual students inside and outside the classroom to enable them to fully participate in activities
Assist class teachers with maintaining student records
Support students with emotional or behavioural problems and help develop their social skills.
