An exciting opportunity has become available for a early years foundation stage (EYFS) teaching assistant to work in a reception class at a welcoming and nuturing primary school in Goulbourne. The school has invested heavily within the EYFS department, creating an inspiring outdoor learning space and forest school. This is a fantastic opportunity to support children during a key stage of their development and help build strong foundations for lifelong learning.
The ideal candidate will have experience supporting children within the early years foundation stage, delivering phonics interventions and supporting children within continuous provision.
The Role
• Support children within the Early Years Foundation Stage through play-based and structured learning activities.
• Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Has excellent communication and organisational abilities
• Support pupils on an individual and small group basis to help them reach developmental milestones.
The Ideal Candidate
• Has experience working with young children within an EYFS or educational setting.
• Demonstrates patience, warmth, and a genuine passion for early childhood development.
• Create a positive and inclusive learning environment for all students
• Has an understanding of the EYFS framework and child-centred learning approaches.

• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
