We work closely with a wide range of welcoming and reputable primary schools across Dartford and its surrounding areas. This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden one’s experience development as an educator, while playing a vital role in helping children with different learning needs reach their individual goals.
Your role will involve:
Supporting teachers and pupils across a range of year groups and subjects.
Leading or assisting with small-group or 1:1 support sessions and interventions
Supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) and varying learning capabilities.
Assisting with the preparation of the class and learning resources.
Feeding back to teachers on pupil progress and helping to adapt learning accordingly.
We’re looking for someone who:
Has a genuine interest in supporting children of all abilities.
Can communicate clearly and build strong relationships with staff and pupils.
Is adaptable, confident, and comfortable working in new environments.
Holds an enhanced DBS on the update service (or is willing to apply for one).
Ideally has previous school-based experience (although relevant education experience outside of schools will be considered).
Experience working with children, but qualifications not required
