We are recruiting Trainee Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across Ellesmere Port, with immediate starts available.
We are particularly keen to hear from individuals with experience working with children or supporting others, including:
– Sports coaching
– Scouts / Guides
– Camp America or similar programmes
– Youth work
– Care or support work backgrounds
Your transferable skills – communication, patience, teamwork and relationship-building – are highly valued in the classroom.
The Role
- Supporting pupils in class on a 1:1 or small group basis
- Assisting with learning activities and classroom routines
- Supporting children with additional needs
- Helping to create a positive and engaging learning environment
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or in care/support settings
- A positive, proactive and reliable attitude
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to provide references from previous roles
