A large, three-form entry primary school in Southport is looking to appoint a flexible and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time role with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a well-established and supportive school environment, where staff work collaboratively to ensure high standards of teaching and learning across all key stages.
The Role
• Provide general classroom support across EYFS, Key Stage 1, and Key Stage 2
• Provide one-to-one support for individual pupils where required
• Deliver small group interventions to support progress in core subjects
• Support pupils with additional needs as part of wider classroom responsibilities
The Ideal Candidate
• Holds a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
• Is confident and comfortable working across EYFS, KS1, and KS2
• Has experience supporting children in a primary school setting
• Is adaptable, proactive, and able to respond to the needs of different age groups
Requirements
• References covering the last 5 years
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
