ALN Specialist Primary Teacher, Neath Port Talbot

Job Description

New Directions works alongside the biggest schools across Neath Port Talbot and surrounding areas, and are recruiting for Primary Teachers in the NPT area specialising in Additional Learning Needs.

We are looking for dedicated and inspiring Teachers to provide creative and exciting learning environments to help ALN children reach their developmental milestones by using a variety of teaching methods, including artistic expression, educational play and storytelling while providing them with foundational life skills and preparing them for the next stage of formal education. You must have a Qualified Teacher Status in the UK to be considered for this role.

Job Specification

To work in an Additional Learning Needs (ALN) role you will need:

• A relevant teaching qualification
• Ideally experience working in an ALN environment
• Recent experience in a classroom environment
• An excellent track record
• Good knowledge of the national curriculum
• Strong interpersonal and people management skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to work short-term and long-term.
