New Directions are recruiting for a partner Catholic Primary School in Manchester. We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Primary Teacher to join a supportive and welcoming team. You’ll help create a fun, engaging, and inclusive environment where pupils can learn, grow, and feel supported.
This role is due to start asap during the Summer term 2026 and will continue into the new academic year until December 2026. This role may lead to a permanent opportunity for the right person.
The Role
• Plan and deliver engaging and creative lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
• Support children’s development in reading, writing, and maths
• Assess and monitor pupil progress, providing feedback where needed
• Create a positive, safe, and engaging learning environment
• Work as part of a team and share ideas with colleagues
The Candidate
• A positive attitude and willingness to develop professionally
• Enjoys working with children and helping them succeed
• Strong communication and classroom management skills
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is required; experience in KS1 or Year 2 is desirable, hold a CCRS Certificate or willing to undertake the Catholic Certificate in Religious Studies.
