Are you seeking a long-term SEND support role as a teaching assistant within a mainstream primary setting in Walsall?
At New Directions, we are working with a local primary setting who are seeking a SEND Teaching Assistant on a full-time, long-term basis on a split-day between two children who are in Year 3 and Year 4 and have received funding to support them. Both children are autistic and struggle to engage within lessons and require a patient and understanding 1-to-1 to help them engage in lessons and also follow-out pre-set interventions as directed by the SENCo, who is approachable and highly friendly!
Ideally, we are seeking an individual with school based experience, however the school are more with appointing an individual who has transferrable experience but also fits a person specification such as the following attributes; calm, patient, relatable and reliable.
This role will be working Monday to Friday, during term-time only on a full-time, long-term basis (on-going). The successful applicant will be paid PAYE on a weekly basis at a rate ranging from £92.63 to £96.79 dependent on experience and qualifications.
This role is to start immediately, however the school are willing to wait a short duration for the right candidate
