Key Responsibilities
• Deliver engaging and practical Design Technology and Engineering lessons
• Encourage creativity, technical understanding, and problem-solving skills within the classroom
• Prepare students for coursework, practical assessments, and examinations
• Maintain a safe and organised workshop environment in line with health and safety regulations
• Monitor student progress and provide effective feedback to support achievement
• Support pupils in developing confidence, independence, and practical skills
The Ideal Candidate
• Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Has experience teaching Design Technology within a secondary school setting
• Has a strong understanding of Engineering principles and practical workshop skills
• Demonstrates excellent classroom management and communication abilities
• Is passionate about technical education and inspiring students through practical learning
• Brings enthusiasm, creativity, and a proactive approach to teaching and learning
