What You’ll Be Doing

As an EYFS Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning in line with the EYFS Framework.
  • Create engaging, play-based learning experiences that encourage exploration and development.
  • Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.
  • Support children’s social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Observe, assess, and track pupil progress, adapting learning to meet individual needs.
  • Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues.
  • Promote children’s wellbeing and ensure safeguarding procedures are followed at all times.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and support school improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK.
  • Experience teaching within EYFS or Early Years settings.
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS curriculum and child development.
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
  • A positive, proactive, and nurturing approach to teaching.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
  • ECTs are encouraged to apply.
