We’re recruiting Unqualified Teaching Assistants to support primary schools across the Wirral. If you have experience working with children and are passionate about helping them learn and grow, we’d love to hear from you!
You don’t need previous school experience to apply. We’re particularly keen to speak with candidates who have gained transferable skills through childcare, voluntary work or community organisations.
We Would Love to Hear From You If You Have Experience In:
Nurseries or childcare settings
Holiday clubs or after-school clubs
Sports coaching
Scouts, Guides, Brownies or youth groups
Children’s activity groups
Play schemes or summer camps
Voluntary roles supporting children and young people
The Role
Supporting pupils across EYFS, KS1 and KS2
Working with individuals, small groups and whole classes
Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning
Encouraging pupils’ confidence, independence and engagement
Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
What We’re Looking For
Experience working with children in any capacity
Ability to obtain references from a childcare, voluntary or child-focused setting
A positive, caring and enthusiastic attitude
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Reliable, proactive and eager to begin a career in education
