New Directions Education are recruiting a full-time SEN Support Assistant to work within a well-established and inclusive primary school in the Upton area of Chester.
The school serves a mixed catchment and has a strong community ethos, with an increasing focus on providing high-quality support for pupils with additional needs.
Role Details:
Full-time position
Working hours: 8:30am–3:30pm (this may differ for some schools)
Provide 1:1 and small group support
Support pupils with ASD, ADHD, speech & language and SEMH needs
Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO
Requirements:
Experience working with children with additional needs
Calm, patient and adaptable approach
Strong behaviour management skills
A full UK driving licence is desired
Must be available to commit to a full-time role
