Job Description

Do you have experience supporting children / young adults with challenging behaviour?

Have you made a positive impact or been a positive role model to someone with SEMH and behavioural difficulties?

Are you keen to support pupils either on a 1:1 or small group basis within a school environment?

If you have answered yes to one or more of the above, then I would love to hear from you today!  Following a recent meeting with several Head teachers, New Directions Wirral Office are looking for Learning Support / Behaviour Mentors to work with a number of pupils with additional needs who are currently disengaged in their learning.

The school would like to appoint behaviour / SEMH intervention support and is looking to recruit up to 3 full-time members of staff to raise attainment with disadvantaged pupils.

Job Specification

  • A relevant teaching qualification
  • Ideally experience working in an ALN environment
  • Recent experience in a classroom environment
