New Directions are working in partnership with a well-respected secondary school in Canterbury to recruit an enthusiastic Computer Science Teacher to join their experienced team. This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher to shape the minds of tomorrow’s tech leaders in a school that values creativity, innovation, and high-quality teaching.
The Role:
Plan and deliver engaging Computer Science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4 (KS5 experience would also be helpful, but not essential)
Inspire students with your subject knowledge and enthusiasm for technology and computing
Work collaboratively within a well-established ICT & Computing department
Contribute to curriculum development and enrichment opportunities, including coding clubs and STEM initiatives
What We’re Looking For:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent overseas teaching qualification
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for Computer Science
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A commitment to nurturing learners of all abilities and fostering a positive learning environment
