We are currently seeking enthusiastic and reliable Cover Supervisors to work on a supply basis in secondary schools across Cardiff and the surrounding areas. As a Cover Supervisor, you will be responsible for supervising classes during the short-term absence of teaching staff, ensuring pupils remain on task and that a positive learning environment is maintained.
Key Responsibilities
Supervising whole classes across Key Stages 3 and 4
Delivering pre-set lesson plans and activities
Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
Ensuring student safety and wellbeing at all times
Providing feedback to teaching staff and senior leaders as required
The Ideal Candidate
Experience working with young people (education-based experience desirable but not essential)
Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
Confident, adaptable, and professional approach
Good communication and organisational skills
A genuine interest in supporting secondary-aged learners
