New Directions is working with a number of secondary schools across South Birmingham ranging in size. When it comes to SEND support, all of our client schools ensure to provide the correct level of support from on-site Resource Bases or 1 to 1 support to accessing external services and units.
The schools require cover supervisors with excellent classroom and behaviour management skills who are committed to holding the learners to the high expectations of the schools.
New Directions is looking for cover supervisors who hold themselves to high standards of conduct and presentation to represent the agency in providing the best education to the students of our client schools.
Working hours are 8:30 to 3:30, working 3 to 5 days per week Monday to Friday during term-time. At New Directions, we pride ourselves on the fantastic service we provide not just to our client schools but also our agency staff, ensuring to take into consideration requirements such as travel time and locations.
Person Requirements
Degree-level Education
Strong classroom and behaviour management Skills
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or we can put one in place for you)
Two satisfactory references covering a minimum of two years
