New Directions Education is delighted to be recruiting a passionate, creative, and dedicated Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Teacher to join a vibrant and nurturing primary school in Chester. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced EYFS teacher—or an ambitious ECT—to inspire young learners, fostering a love of learning and supporting the development of essential skills during the earliest stages of education.
The Role:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality EYFS lessons that support all areas of the Early Years curriculum
Encourage curiosity, independence, and a love of learning in every child
Observe, assess, and track children’s development, adapting teaching to meet individual needs
Work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and support staff to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant UK teaching qualification
Experience teaching EYFS, or an ambitious ECT looking to make a strong start in early years education
A passion for nurturing young children’s development, curiosity, and confidence
Strong communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of all pupils
All candidates must hold, or be willing to obtain, an Enhanced DBS check
