New Directions Education are currently recruiting a Secondary History Teacher to work in schools across the Wirral. This exciting role offers the chance to inspire students through engaging and thought-provoking History lessons across KS3 and KS4.
You will have the opportunity to bring history to life, helping pupils develop critical thinking skills, a deeper understanding of the past, and an appreciation for how history shapes the world today. The Role:
Teaching History at KS3 and KS4
Planning and delivering creative, high-quality lessons
Tracking and supporting student progress
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Working closely with the Humanities department and wider staff
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or a relevant UK teaching qualification
Experience teaching History in a secondary school setting
Strong classroom management and communication skills
Enthusiasm for History and education
A commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
