New Directions Education are seeking a passionate and dedicated Humanities Teacher to work in secondary schools across the Caerphilly area. We have opportunities available on both a day-to-day supply and long-term basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to teach Humanities subjects, including History, Religious Education, Geography and related humanities disciplines, inspiring students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
The school welcomes applications from experienced teachers, Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs/ECTs) and PGCE students in their final year of study.
Do you have the following?
Experience teaching Humanities subjects;
EWC registration (or willingness to obtain it);
The ability to teach Key Stage 3 (KS3) and Key Stage 4 (KS4);
A current Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one;
Strong classroom management skills;
A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring young people;
Newly Qualified Teachers (NQTs/ECTs) are encouraged to apply.

Teach Humanities subjects in line with the National Curriculum;

Motivate and inspire pupils through creative and engaging teaching methods;
