New Directions are looking for a dedicated and innovative ICT Teacher to join our forward-thinking secondary school based in Liverpool. This is an exciting opportunity to inspire students in a rapidly evolving subject area and equip them with essential digital skills for the future.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging and high-quality ICT lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, encouraging students to explore computing, digital literacy, and information technology in a real-world context. Whether you are an experienced teacher or an ECT, you will be supported by a collaborative team and strong leadership.
As a ICT Teacher you’ll be expected to:
Inspire students of all abilities and promote a love of technology.
Plan, prepare and teach lessons that cater for all student ability ranges.
Maintain discipline.
Lesson Planning and overseeing parents evenings
Be enthusiastic, flexible, creative and ambitious
A strong academic background ICT or related discipline
To deliver religious education lessons to groups of pupils from all abilities across ages 11 – 14 according to their educational needs and levels of ability.
The Successful ICT Teacher must have:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience Of Teaching ICT or Computing.
Knowledge of the National Curriculum
Able to provide Referees.
An up-to-date DBS Check (or be willing to obtain one)
Eligibility to work in the UK.
