A supportive and welcoming primary school in Runcorn is seeking to appoint a dedicated KS2 Intervention Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time role with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.

The Role
• Deliver targeted interventions across Key Stage 2 to support pupil progress in core subjects
• Work with small groups of pupils to close gaps in learning
• Support the class teacher in assessing and monitoring pupil progress
• Adapt intervention sessions to meet the needs of different learners
The Ideal Candidate
• Has experience working with primary-aged children
• Has experience delivering interventions across KS2 (desirable but not essential)
• Is confident supporting pupils in English and Maths
• Demonstrates a patient, encouraging, and supportive approach
• Is proactive, organised, and able to use their initiative
• Works well as part of a team
Requirements
• References covering the last 5 years
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
