New Directions Education are currently recruiting a dedicated and adaptable KS2 Primary Teacher to work in primary schools across Chester. This role is ideal for enthusiastic teachers who enjoy working across different Key Stage 2 classes and providing high-quality teaching through ad hoc cover. There is also potential for this role to lead to a long-term or temporary-to-permanent position for the right candidate.

Due to the nature of this role, candidates must be able to commit to working more than 3 days per week.
The Role:
• Delivering engaging and effective lessons across KS2 classes
• Providing high-quality ad hoc cover when required
• Maintaining a positive and productive classroom environment
• Managing classroom behaviour in line with school policies
• Adapting lessons to meet the needs of all learners
• Supporting pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Providing feedback to school staff where required
• Contributing to a supportive and professional school environment
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
• Experience teaching within Key Stage 2
• Strong classroom and behaviour management skills
• The flexibility and confidence to work across different classes and schools
• Excellent communication and organisational skills
• A proactive and professional approach
• A strong understanding of safeguarding and curriculum expectations
• A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
