New Directions Education is looking to appoint dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistants to work within welcoming and inclusive primary schools in the Newbridge area.
We have a range of full-time and part-time opportunities available, making this an ideal role for experienced Teaching Assistants, those returning to education, or anyone looking for flexible work within local primary schools.
This rewarding role is perfect for someone who enjoys supporting children to thrive both academically and socially. You’ll work closely with teachers to provide classroom support, deliver small group interventions and, where required, offer one-to-one support to pupils, helping every child reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
Support teaching and learning across the primary age range.
Work with individual pupils and small groups to reinforce classroom learning.
Provide additional support to children who need encouragement or tailored assistance.
Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging learning environment.
Build strong relationships with pupils, staff and parents where appropriate.
We’re Looking For Someone Who
Has experience working with children in a school, nursery or similar setting.
Is caring, patient and passionate about supporting children’s learning.
Works well as part of a team and can use their own initiative.
Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Holds a Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential).
