We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 3 Teaching Assistant to join a supportive primary school team in Birkenhead. This is a fantastic opportunity to work full-time in Foundation Stage 1 (F1), starting as soon as possible and continuing on a week-by-week basis.
Key Responsibilities:
– Support the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to the needs of F1 students.
– Foster a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that encourages the development of social, emotional, and educational skills.
– Assist with the planning and preparation of resources and activities, ensuring all children are included and supported.
– Observe and assess student progress, providing feedback to the class teacher to aid in their development.
– Build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues to promote a strong sense of community within the school.
Qualifications and Requirements:
– Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
– Experience working with young children, preferably in a primary school setting.
– Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with children and staff.
– A patient, caring, and proactive approach to supporting children’s learning.
– Commitment to promoting an inclusive and varied learning experience for all students.
