Key Responsibilities
As a PE Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging lessons across KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5.
Teach all areas of your subject specialism with confidence.
Plan, prepare, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of all ability ranges.
Create a positive and well-organised learning environment.
Motivate pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative teaching.
Maintain discipline and ensure a safe, supportive atmosphere.
Assess, record, and monitor pupil progress effectively.
Coordinate activities and resources within the PE curriculum, supporting colleagues where needed.
Stay up to date with curriculum developments and best practice.
Work flexibly and collaboratively, particularly within smaller schools.
Requirements
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
Ability to teach PE across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable).
Strong classroom management and organisational skills.
A passion for promoting health, fitness, and wellbeing.
